Another yesterday

31 December 2005

Yesterday, we decided to take a trip to the Midland Military Markets to buy fruit and vegetables for both eating and juicing. Jac was also keen to have a Stovey Burger. If you remember, last time we went to the Markets Jac was on the Liver Cleansing Diet and couldn’t have one. Most unfortunately, as ...

Yesterday

29 December 2005

After having a cuppa at Jac’s mum’s house and saying good-bye to her brother who was returning to Sydney in the afternoon, we had lunch at our favourite asian food hall. I had hokkien mee.

Jac had yong tau foo. I didn’t take a picture of it because it looked exactly like this photo I took ...

My folks got home from their holiday yesterday arvo, and the family got together for an inpromptu curry fest dinner, cooked by my very talented younger sister Juji.

Christmas Day

The rice, noodles and vegetables are buried somewhere far, far below the pile of meat (this is indicative of their low significance in this meal). Guess who had this for lunch ...

Japanese chicken rice from Hans Cafe

24 December 2005

The chronology of these posts is probably a little wonky. Oh well. I’m sure it’s the food piccies that you are most interested in, not the order in which I consumed the food items. Another recent shopping excursion saw me having a quiet lunch at Hans Cafe, to escape the madness of the shopping centre ...

Chicken is my favourite snack

24 December 2005

Yesterday we went grocery shopping and while we were at the shopping centre, I had a hankering for a chicken snack. Enter three pieces of chicken karaage with BBQ sauce and mayo, for AU$2.90.

Thursday Night Roast

24 December 2005

Thursday night we invited Jac’s friend MT over for dinner, and Jac made a lamb roast.

I love roasted vegetables. In addition to potatoes and onions we also had sweet potatoes, carrots and pumpkin. Do any of you guys eat the pumpkin skin? Jac thinks I’m weird because I eat the skin.

And of ...
