Yeah, I’ve noticed all the stores are in Christmas mode now. It’s good but it’s also bad… it reminds me that my birthday is coming up, and the holidays but it also reminds me that exams are around the corner. Nggh.

I like Christmas but I also find it very stressful, so I look forward to and dread it at the same time.
I just looked at the date and if I am not mistaken it is only 5 October…what is this? I know in the States they have these sort of 365/year Christmas shopping shoppes (and generally it is spelt like that). It’s fun and silly and so, my question: is it just Xmas starting early or is it a round the world trend towards 365/24 Xmas?
Emily, I think as far as retail goes, Christmas displays are coming out earlier and earlier. It’s like at Easter, the chocolate eggs and hot cross buns appear quite a while before.
