I held off posting as soon as Mum rang in case other family members who read this blog hadn’t heard yet.
My grandma (Mama) passed away early this morning. Mum says she looked very peaceful.
Funeral is probably on Wednesday (but yet to be confirmed) on Thursday.
I’m sad but okay. Given Mama’s age and state of health we had not been expecting any sort of (miraculous) full recovery, and there was no way she could’ve gone on indefinitely as she was – nor would we wish her to.

I lost both grandfathers this past year, and i have to offer you my condolences on your grandmother passing. Both of mine lived long, happy lives, and left all of us with a lasting legacy, i will have amazing stories to tell my children one day about them. I am sure you will have the same.
