Colleen,
I'd definitely love to visit! Just have to make a trip to Canada happen. I know Jac has been keen to go for sometime.

The Home Cook,
I'm really pleased with how the photos turned out. That cafe has really good lighting for photos. Such a shame I probably won't eat there again, now that I'll be working in a different suburb.

I'm right there with you on the living to eat. :) These photos are outstanding - I can almost taste the pancakes, the syrup and the fruit. Yum!!

Thanks for checking out my post. :)

We do in deed sell our syrup. Hopefully the large majority of it will be bought on the festival weekend and the rest will go first-come first serve.

Please do come by if you visit Canada. We love our visitors!

beth,
:) Welcome to you and your cousin! I hope the photos will continue the mouth-watering trend.

M.M.,
Hope you've managed to have some pancakes!

Clover,
Maple syrup is my favourite accompaniment for pancakes and waffles, but I do like honey too.

dynagrrl,
:-D Hope you get to feed that pancake craving soon! Every time I look at these photos I feel like having some more!

michelle @ TNS,
Well, if money were no object and the opportunity were available, I'd say "absolutely!" LOL. If only I could apply that to my life! I'd be flying all over the world to sample the foods I've read about on food blogs.

Bitsy,
I do feel pleased when I hear that! To me, that is success (sorry)! :)

Jetgirl,
Hah. I think my tolerance for higher prices has also risen as I'm earning more money now than ever before - having been a poor student for many years, I'm now really enjoying being able to afford being more "generous" with my expenditure.

dea,
I'm much more of a savoury person too, but for dishes like this I always can make an exception. Pancakes and waffles I can't say no to!

yuyu,
Thanks for commenting! Glad you've enjoyed this post.

aforkfulofspaghetti,
Only when taking photos for the blog can I hold back on my gluttony!

Jac,
It was great. And ever since I showed Chad the photos, she's been bugging her boyfriend to go and have pancakes there with her. :)

michelle,
I hope you got to have some pancakes! At a cafe or at home, doesn't matter! I prefer eating pancakes out in many respects - no need to make the pancakes, no dishes or pans to wash up.

Colleen,
I read your maple syrup post with great interest. A maple syrup festival sounds fantastic! If we ever make it to Canada we may just have to make our trip coincide with that event! Do you sell your maple syrup?

Frogdancer,
LOL. I guess the fancy presentation is part of what you're paying for when you eat out! I'm sure your boys don't even think about that aspect when you serve your pancakes up!

jean,
I did see a bloke with an Elvis-like haircut lurking about. But it may not have been the same guy you're talking about.

cellobella,
Hahahaha, wanna have breaky again together sometime? :-P

Bryan,
Oh yeah. That's exactly what I thought when the dish was brought to my table.

The pancakes just look so yummy, will have to drag the man out for brekkie there one day.

I wonder if that Elvis impersonator still hangs out at the place (used to work in Subi and see him around all the time)

First time reader: found you through Scott's Abode. I make pancakes for my boys every Saturday, but now I'm seriously embarrassed at my lack of presentation. I just plonk them on a plate.

Tomorrow I'm going to garnish. At least a little. They won't know what hit them.

Mmm... that does look delicious... renews my energy for our current daily task of emptying sap buckets.

See, I'm exhausting myself daily in pursuit of that very golden liquid you talk about... Maple Syrup, the holy grail of sweet edibles.

That's enough. Must rest and restore my energy for more making of the syrup.
