A dinner from last week – Jac bought some barbecue flavoured chicken skewers, which she cooked under the grill. She panfried field mushrooms and whole garlic cloves – yum! As you can see in this photo of my plate, I love my chicken, mushrooms and garlic!

WOW! Those a huge mushrooms – we have shitake mushrooms here that size… never heard of field mushrooms… I feel so cultured when I read your blog TFP ;-P

Field mushrooms are fantastic on the barbie, cooked with garlic butter. Because they’re so large and thick when cooked to perfection they’re juicy and carvable like a steak – so good. Cultured? Hahahaha. I wouldn’t say that myself, but it’s nice that you think so! :-D
