The Food Pornographer was given a mention this morning on Nathan and Nat’s breakfast program on Nova 93.7FM in a new segment called Oh My Blog! I was briefly on air and had a chat with Nathan and Nat.

I only just discovered you last week, (so I juuuust beat the media) and sad to say, I wasn’t sure which gender you were. There’s no clue….

How cool! It is great that the other media are recognizing blogs, and to be the first in a regular feature, that must really be a thrill!

As I mentioned in the post, I was given barely any notice and did not have the chance to tell my readers. I had confirmation it would be going ahead only half an hour before it was scheduled – I was already at work and had to 1) tell my boss I had to disappear for a short while to do it and 2) then scramble to find a quiet room to sit in so I wouldn’t be disturbed. Even if I could’ve blogged about during that short interval (but I strictly do not blog when I’m at the office), it’s highly unlikely that most people would’ve read about it in time. Believe me, I would’ve told my readers about it if only I could! The important thing is they gave me the mp3 of the segment, so it doesn’t matter anyway if you missed hearing it live or don’t live in Perth. :-D
