I always prefer soba to udon noodles, whether soup or fried. We've had this bottle of tamari in the pantry for ages... Yeah, I guess it is! I always prefer soba to udon noodles, whether soup or fried. We’ve had this bottle of tamari in the pantry for ages… I tend to forget that we have it, and just use the standard soy most of the time.

It's like home made yaki soba isn't it? I prefer udon to soba in soup and soba to udon when eaten cold or stir-fried. A veggie & soba stir fry sounds like a yummy dinner. I never thought of using tamari, but that is a great idea too. Usually I like to add a tablespoon or 2 of teriyaki sauce to soba stir fries to give it a savoury yet sweetish taste. YUM!
