Happy new year, everyone!

On new year’s eve last year, I was on holidays with Jac. In the morning, we were in Newcastle, where I tasted a curry tiger pie from Harry’s Cafe de Wheels for the first time. This is one of my favourite images and memories from my 2008 posts (click on the photo if you’d like to read the post that featured the curry tiger). Do you have a favourite TFP image or post from 2008? :)

Happy new year, everyone! Thank you again for your continued interest and support. Here’s to another year of delicious (and maybe occasionally controversial *wink wink*) blogging!

That looks so YUMMY!! I was introduced to your blog through a blog link swap on swap-bot. I come to visit on a regular basis now, and I really enjoy the read. You inspire me to make less boring lunches for my dear hubby.

Happy New Year Jac & tfp!

I’m pretty sure Ruby’s birthday was my favorite post. I loved how her hair stood straight up on her little head. She was adorable.

I love all your posts! I check every day to see what you’ve been up to food wise! I especially love the bento posts with the cute notes included for Jac and the take-out posts. Have a lovely New year. Thanks for making a little bright spot in my day. I love your site.

The one post that stands out in my mind was the Hyatt hotel weekend post. That was a fun read.

You wouldn’t happen to be referring to the one lady who accused you of stealing her recipe would you *wink wink*?

Happy New Year to you and Jac.

Have an awesome 2009, TFP! Here’s to more great eats and greater blogging adventures. ;)
BTW, I don’t have a favourite posts. But I do like all your family feasting posts. Family feasts are my favourite kind of feast ever.

I have this insatiable love of KFC original recipe, I love the white meat, and every time I see one of your post about a KFC dinner along with your pictures, I am a very happy lady.

Happy New Year to you and Jac,

I love all your posts! An easy answer but true. I remember the woman who thought you stole her recipe, I remember your and Jac’s not so great experience on your weekend away (don’t remember the hotel name darn it!).

But mostly I remember all the REALLY good food. Your pictures always draw me in. I especially love any posts you do on noodles or fried rice, some of my favorite things on earth.

Happy 2009!

Thanks, Candy. Glad to hear it!

jessica,
Thank you, you too. Hope 2009 is a good one for you.

Nicole and Ria,
Happy new year to you too! Ruby’s hair is a little less spiky now – it’s getting longer. She is still very cute though, with an ever-impressive appetite! I wonder if her younger baby brother or sister (due soon) will have the same hairdo?

Thanks for your kind words, Reenie Bug. Glad to be a ‘bright spot’ in your day. Hope I can continue that in 2009.

Jen,
Happy new year to you too! The cats have had a hot, lazy start to the year. Lots of collapsed cats with exposed furry bellies in the hallway.

Thank you, Jaz! Hope 2009 is a good one for you too.

Zaw,
That weekend was definitely one of my best for 2008 (hopefully we can stay at more hotels this year. I love a decadent weekend!). Hhhhm, maybe I was thinking of a certain lady, maybe I wasn’t… *wink*

sully86,
Well, I hope to continue the torture in 2009! Happy new year!

blur ting,
You cracked me up with your comment! Just shows where your mind was, eh? What you described sounds good. I’m sure my friend Charlene would love that (you reading this, C? :))

dea,
I’m sure there will be more family feasts, starting with Chinese New Year family reunion dinner on the 25th Jan. Big feasting coming up right there, I’d say! Happy new year, and I hope to continue sharing the eating adventures with you in 2009.

Kagenosuke,
Oh yes, the Royal Show! But I think that was 2007! We are due to go to the show again in 2009 (we go every second year or so). So you may get to see the corn again this year, dripping with hot garlic butter, oh yeah! Happy new year!

Thanks, chef biatch, and happy new year to you! I am sure KFC will feature regularly in 2009. That’s pretty much a given.

Plume,
Thank you, and happy new year to you! Well, hopefully in 2009 I’ll get the opportunity to eat some interesting food so the blog posts can be equally interesting!

Happy new year, Kiran! Hopefully there will be many more great eats to write about in 2009 so you still won’t be able to choose a favourite!

Melissa,
Oh yes. It was quite entertaining, wasn’t it? As for the hotel, well, although it had those low points, I still always enjoy a weekend away in a hotel. I’m hoping we’ll get to spend more nights away in hotels in 2009. Well, there will definitely be noodles and fried rice featured in future posts. You can bet on that!

Happy new year, Andreas!
Oh yes! More good, interesting food in 2009!
