A couple of Thursdays ago, I got lunch from Noodlebox (118 Royal St, East Perth) – I designed my own noodle stir-fry. I chose thick egg noodles, chicken, fish cake, egg, tofu, bean sprouts, snow peas and broccoli, cooked in oyster sauce. After I placed my order, I was told they’d run out of tofu – would I like extra broccoli instead? I said yes, and as it turned out, they gave me heaps of broccoli, more than they’ve given me previously when I paid for double broccoli – and although I’d ordered and paid for a small, they gave me a well-filled large box. Bonus!

Oh my god, TFP. I think your egg noodle stir fry photos are (for me) the best of all. Two words: “DO WANT!” This one made my mouth water instantly, and now I have changed my dinner plans.

Mmmm, broccoli… I love thick egg noodles with just about anything, but extra broccoli – yum!
Would never generally think of ordering something like this, however your pictures and description make my mouth water. Would order takeaway except we are snowed in at the moment.

It was great. I used to not like broccoli very much either, but have grown to like it as I’ve gotten older.

I’ve always loved thick egg noodles. One of my favourite noodle dishes is hokkien mee.

Although I enjoyed my noodles and extra broccoli, I did miss the tofu. Hopefully they’ll have tofu next time I order it.
