Pizza and Pixel

in Cats, Home delivery

It’s so bad, but we splurge on pizza home delivery every now and then. We always order two pizzas, which provides a feast for dinner and leaves us with leftovers for the next couple of days. Jac chooses one pizza with Classic Crust; I choose the other pizza, always with Thin N Crispy crust.

Here was Jac’s choice: the Chicken Feast pizza, topped with double chicken, BBQ sauce, mozzarella cheese, capsicum, onion, pepperoni and shredded cotto.

Dominos Chicken Feast (Classic crust)

This is one of our favourites from way back – my choice, the Dominos Godfather, with tomato sauce, pepperoni, ham, mozzarella cheese, capsicum, olives, fresh and sun-dried tomato, oregano and garlic. I love garlic on pizza, and I just love Thin n Crispy crust – I’d happily eat pizza with Thin n Crispy crust (preferably with garlic on it!) at least 80% of the time.

I had a couple of slices of each. Dominos pizzas have really shrunk over the years! Here’s the Chicken Feast, which was loaded with toppings. It’s yummo, but I think my favourite chicken pizzas are the BBQ Chicken and Bacon (the BBQ sauce, chicken pieces and Don Smoked bacon are a fantastic combination!), and the Chicken Italiano (I love the chicken, mushroom, fresh tomato slices, Don smoked bacon and garlic!).

I used to pick the olives out of my Godfather pizza and dump them on Jac’s plate (she’d eat them). But now I just eat them myself. I don’t see myself becoming a fan of olives any time soon though.

It’s a little blurry, but here’s naughty Pixel, sitting on the still warm pizza boxes. She was annoyed because we wouldn’t give her any that delicious-smelling pizza. :)

May I ask what your BMIs are?
Do you outgrow your clothes on a daily basis?
Do you exercise?

Im going to have to side with Jac on the regular crust. Thin crust isn’t worth the cost nor fullness afterwards.

We have a local place n town that delivers, make their own dough and everything. trouble is that its run by stoners so sometimes you get the wrong toppings or they get lost on the way to your house. really good otherwise.

I totally agree with you about the size of the pizza’s TFP, they are getting smaller and smaller. We luckily have a pizza place just around the corner from us, that does different sizes, so we just get a family size half and half pizza, that does us both for dinner, and always have slices left over for another meal !!!
Keep up the good photos and avoid negative comments too !!!

Does she beg for food? We just got a new kitten (1 yr old) and she begs for food when we eat. She will not leave us alone if we are eating on the couch. It rather annoying but so cute!

I totally agree about the pizzas getting smaller, in fact almost every take away we get lately has shrunk their portion sizes. We used to get 2 mains and share some with the kids, but now we have to order 3 mains or extra side dishes to keep us all happy.

Bitsy,
To be frank, I get tired of people asking me about my BMI/body weight, and I don’t particularly like your insinuations. I think your tone is quite rude, actually.

jetgirl,
My rationale is I get to eat more pizza on thin n crispy crust, which means I get to eat more toppings – which is what I like best about pizza. :) We used to support a local non-pizza-chain place but after they stuffed up our orders two or three times in a row we haven’t been back.

Ryan,
Oh yes. She was not happy with us!

sydneygirl,
Heheheh. I think that’s why they don’t tend to call their pizzas “large” any more. :)

justonemorebite,
I love having the leftovers the next day! I plan to keep up with photos, don’t you worry!

Zaw,
Oh yes, she will hound us for food and meow at us in this little high voice. She has been trained to sit before she is fed, so you tend to find her sitting in readiness when she wants something!

sangee,
Pixel likes to sit in the middle of newspaper when you are reading it, or on pizza boxes when you are trying to get another slice. So naughty but we love her!

Christine,
It just doesn’t go as far as it used to, does it? I also think my appetite has grown too! :)

leigh,
I hope the pizza pics weren’t too much of a distraction! LOL.
