Linguine with Italian sausage and vegetables

Another dinner made by Jac – this time, linguine pasta with a tomato sauce loaded with Italian sausage and vegetables. She served it to me like this…

…and I then mixed it through, so it looked like this! The crisp sugar snap peas and juicy mushrooms were great in the sauce. It was definitely the kind of meal that leaves you with a messy face when you’re done.

I love the ratio of toppings/sauce to pasta in this dish! I’ve never tried sugar snap peas in my pasta dishes before.. but I think you’ve convinced me to ;)

Aside from Japanese food, pasta must be the food I crave the most. Must have a fix soon. :P

I’m a bit surprised to not see pasta/Italian dishes more frequently on your blog, TFP. ;-) I like a good Italian dish occasionally. And, like a typical American, I like it festooned with grated cheese.

clekitty,
I think Jac wanted to use green beans (which she knows are one of my favourite vegetables), but we didn’t have any, so she used the sugar snaps.

dea,
I rarely crave pasta, but when I eat it, I usually enjoy it.

Cindy,
We like Italian food / pasta, but I guess my need for rice and Jac’s for meat and veg far outweigh our Italian cravings. :D

jessi,
11am is not too early for lunch! :D I hope you found some pasta and that it was good.
