hey, in singapore here we use day-old rice so its not so wet. so usually we cook extra for a meal and use the leftovers for fried rice the next day.

I have decided to attempt fried rice!Should I rinse the raw rice before I cook it?I know to much starch can make the fried rice gummy. The one time I attempted it,it was really gummy.I thought maybe if the rice had been rinsed it would have been better.Wish me luck
