I’m home from three nights in Sydney and have today off work. I’ll be spending it sorting through my photographs and working on the blog, with my first priority being the Tetsuya write-up. Stay tuned for the post later today and your chance to win a Masterclass with Tetsuya in Sydney (Australian readers only).

Edit, 26 March 2010 – my Sydney write-ups have all been published!
- Tetsuya’s masterclass and degustation dinner (including competition details)
- Breakfast at Cafe Ish, Surry Hills
- Dinner at Saké Restaurant and Bar, The Rocks
- Lunch at Mamak, Haymarket
- Curry tiger pie at Harry’s Cafe De Wheels, Haymarket (listen to the curry tiger pie AudioBoo)
- Dim sum at Fisherman’s Wharf Seafood Restaurant, Pyrmont

Hiya
Looking forward to this a lot. Will be checking back, in between watching the oscars.
Hope you are enjoying your Krispy Kreme’s.
LOL, just devoured an original glazed. Jac took some with her to work so I guess her workmates will be on a sugar rush for the day.
How exciting! I can’t wait! :)
Glad you’re back home safe and sound. You must have had a wonderful time. A master class! How cool! Looking forward to all the yummy details! Those original glazed are awesome aren’t they? I love the chewiness!
I’m so looking forward to your Sydney posts! I read some Sydney-based food blogs and have seen pictures of the masterclass (and Mamak, oh my goodness the food looks terrific) but can’t wait to see your version anyhow!
Ooh, very much looking forward to all this! I just had a look at one of the other food blogs and the class featured there too, and I can understand why you had your eating pants on most of the time! :-)
I agree with dea though, can’t wait to read your take on all of this!
Alynna,
Well, it’s up now – hope it meets with expectations. :)
kathy,
The masterclass was great fun (as you’ll see in the post). Yes, I like original glazed ones the best, and the chewiness is EXACTLY why I love them more than most other donuts.
dea,
Oh yes, Mamak was fantastic! Delicious food, and it came out super quick after we ordered it too. I think you’ll like the photos!
Craig,
Yes – eating pants were a mandatory component of the entire trip. :D
Agh, so much to write up, so little time!
So should have stalked you down. I think I saw you, but I wasn’t sure, and I felt a little creepy!
Oh well, never mind! I wouldn’t have been as freaked out as if you were a completely random stranger I didn’t know anything about, but as I’ve read your blog and follow your tweets, it would have been a bit weird initially but not so freaky (does that make sense?) Plus, from what I’ve seen, you’re not too scary looking. :)))
