The cats deal with selling / moving house
Posted @ 5:20 am under AnimaliaHere’s one for the cat lovers! Billy Lee: Where is my footstool that’s usually under the study desk?
EDIT: And now, Billy Lee is sharing my chair, sitting behind me (she gave up waiting for the footstool) and Pixel is purring on my lap. Both in catloaf position. :)

My sister always said her kitties were in the “hovercraft” position! Catloaf makes me laugh too!

omg beautiful!!! Cats, along with food, are one of the few things in the world that are guaranteed to put me in a better mood. Hence my name Amycat. Haha. Also, just curious, what breed are your cats? They’re absolutely beautiful.

Your cats are so cute. One of my cat Taco, is getting fatter and fatter everyday, while the other one, Senorita is getting slimmer and slimmer. We found out the reason why. Taco keep on stealing and eating more of Senorita’s food. So now we have to separate both of them during their main meal. Taco is exactly the same as her dad. Fat, noise n furry, while Senorita is so much like her mom Rex the Rat. She’s very gentle, quiet but will look you with an evil eyes.

Shaunizzle,
I think lots of TFP readers are animal lovers! :)
Fiona,
They love boxes and the green shopping bags we get from Woolworths.
Kim,
Heheheh, hovercraft is a good way to describe Billy Lee in that position as she is so big! But Pixel is more like an inflatable raft.
Amycat,
They are just domestic short-hair (Billy Lee) and domestic medium-hair (Pixel), certainly not breed-with-papers cats!
flower,
I love your descriptions of your cats. Funny thing is, Pixel eats WAY more than Billy Lee, but Billy Lee is twice as heavy!

Aw look at that Pixel! I never realised how small she is compared to Billy Lee. The box practically engulfs her!

Your cats are adorable!! My cat will jump into any drawer that is left open or any box she finds. She’s even been known to curl up inside one of those green eviro bags if I haven’t put it away. They are funny critters aren’t they! Love Pixels face, it’s like “Yeah, I’m in the box.. so?” hehe =)

I got a big chuckle out of “Maybe if I wait patiently, it will reappear” especially! Both are so adorable. I love cats. Mine also loves boxes; and no, she’s not spoiled. ;-)

dea,
Oh yes – she is much smaller than Billy Lee. Billy Lee is just over 8kg, and Pixel is just over 4kg! Billy Lee uses her size to her advantage and is the boss – she gets the best spot by the gas heater, the most comfy spot on the couch, etc.
Just Me,
They love to sit in all sorts of boxes / receptacles / green bags! See this old Weekend Cat Blogging post.
Cindy,
That expression on Billy Lee’s face in that photo is just classic Billy Lee. :-P
hy,
Billy Lee is female (they both are)! She was named after the Chinese restaurant that Jac and I went to on our very first date (Jac chose her name). They are both around 6 years old. Pixel is very active and runs / jumps around all day; Billy Lee doesn’t do much physical activity – she’s happy to just sleep or sit while Pixel’s darting around.

Squee! I love how Billy Lee has one tall “sock” and one short “sock”. I think cats that look slightly mismatched are extreeemely cute. :)

Erica,
She also has a little few white “paint drips” on her back. The work of a messy artist! :)
