Another cat in a box
Posted @ 10:03 am under AnimaliaWhile Jac and Pixel were snuggled up and snoring peacefully in bed this morning, Billy Lee and I were up at 6am hanging out in my study. I sat on my chair, she sat in a box.
Here she is with her version of “smell the fart acting“. :-P
I’ve mentioned before to some of you that Billy Lee is twice Pixel’s weight (Billy Lee is just over 8kg, Pixel just over 4kg) – the box she is sitting in is exactly the same size as the box Pixel was sitting in yesterday (I have three empty boxes, all the same size, sitting in row in my study at present)! That makes Pixel seem positively tiny! Here’s yesterday’s photo of Pixel in a box again:

Aww too cute – Billy Lee is an adorably fat bobo isn’t she? ;-) Hehee. the contrast is amazing – Pixel is a little kitty indeed :-D

Ha! So funny I was just posting photos of my cat in boxes this morning (well helping my dog post on his blog!)

See I did warn you they would come back with attitude from the cattery! Though personally I think I should send mine to the cattery more often so I get a break from them!

I keep forgetting how much bigger Billy Lee is than Pixel. This illustrates it really well :D

Oh my! Billy Lee really IS twice Pixel’s size! I am beginning to make sense out of why you named Pixel Pixel.

any chance you can change this to a cats in boxes blog? I’d still visit every day!

Greetings from Norway!
Your cats are adorable! Pixel looks sooo fluffy and cute. I really wish I could keep a cat in my apartment. Maybe I have to move….

Cute kitties! I love the “serious” look on Billy Lee’s face. And Pixel has a trouble maker look on her face!

Lol! :-) Pixel is definitely a very small cat. Both are so cute. I wonder what it is about cats and boxes…

Esz
You made me laugh with “fat bobo”! Yes, she is. She doesn’t eat as much as Pixel, but she doesn’t run around as much as Pixel either. My grandma used to describe Billy Lee as “plumpy”.
Chris,
I’ve bookmarked your site – I love pet photos, especially multiple cats! :-P
Charlene,
Yeah, it’s easy to forget because in a lot of photos, the way they’re positioned doesn’t make it obvious.
dea,
Well, they were both small when we got them. I just liked the name Pixel and I think I would’ve named one of our cats Pixel no matter what she looked like.
Fiona,
LOL. I’ll feature cat photos every now and then, but they are not that easy to photograph! I’d struggle for decent material for a blog devoted to them.
Thanks, Madeleine. I wouldn’t say “best” by a long shot, but I’m glad you enjoy it. I am hoping to visit Melbourne sometime as I’ve never been there. If I do I will definitely have my eating pants on (hah, they’re all eating pants)!
Linda,
Yes, Pixel is a fluffball. She’s done some spectacular furball spews in her time!
jetgirl,
Heheh, yep, now you know!
wine-fueled narcissism,
I’d really want a cat if I didn’t already have them. I just love their companionship and their cuteness. :)
Megan,
Those are their typical expressions! Billy Lee looks quite serious a lot of the time, while Pixel looks like she’s plotting something naughty. And when you catch her doing something naughty, she is looks all defiant and don’t-care.
Manisha,
Hehehe, cute names!
Cindy,
Ours love any sort of box or cubby – they even jump into the cat carriers when we have them sitting on the floor at home. Funny, you’d think the memory of trips to the vet would make them reluctant to jump into the carriers!
