Gravy, mushy peas, mashed potato all piled on top of a curry meat pie probably sounds like the most ghastly combination ever, but it’s hot and delicious, savoury and comforting, it’s soft yet crispy, and it works. Every dig of the fork through the layers of gravy, peas, potato, pastry and curry was sheer pleasure.

TFP is now on AudioBoo

I’ve set up an AudioBoo account where I’ll be publishing short audio recordings, called “boos” from time to time. Not surprisingly, they’re mostly food-related! These short audio messages won’t replace the blog posts – they’ll allow me to capture and share the little moments that would otherwise probably make it to a blog post.
