Jac goes away I often joke about buying disposable plates and cutlery so I won’t have to wash any dishes, and I say I’ll live exclusively on takeaway and home delivery food. But I do cook for myself every now and then when Jac is away.

Old favourite

SPAM with egg, rice and baked beans

Every now and then, I cook myself my old favourite dish of fried SPAM with egg, Heinz baked beans and rice. And even if I’ve had the crappiest of crappy days, I always feel at least a little better as I enjoy this comforting savoury meal.
