One of my favourite things about staying at 5-star hotels is the breakfast buffet. I’ve enjoyed Kuching’s street food, food courts and coffee shops, but there are good eats to be had at our hotel, the Pullman Kuching.

It’s not spectacular but a good feed at a reasonable price – AU$17.95 includes everything: fruit juice, fresh and stewed fruit, cereals, bread, yoghurt, mini Danish pastries and muffins and the hot breakfast buffet, including bacon, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, baked beans, hash brown, chipolatas and baked tomato topped with cheese.
