Regular readers will know how much I love iced cinnamon buns. This was a particularly large one I enjoyed last month. It was so large it took me four goes to get through it all.

Tasmanian salmon on mashed potato with asparagus, cherry tomatoes and bearnaise sauce

Day 6 of our Hamilton Island holiday: breakfast at the Marina Deli, bakery goodies for morning tea, an afternoon walk with the tide out at the beach, cocktails and mocktails at the Bougainvillea Bar, dinner cruise on the Denison Star.

Day 1 of our Hamilton Island holiday: breakfast at the Gunshop Cafe, West End, Brisbane, the flight over, arrival, Rocky Road Krispy Kremes, pizza delivery dinner from Manta Ray Cafe, best cinnamon bun ever.

A bun and a sandwich

During the week leading up to Easter, I had a buttered toasted hot cross bun for breakfast. Jac toasted the buns under the grill so that they were slightly crisp on the outside but soft on the inside and still quite chewy, just how I like them.
