A delicious dinner with views of the famous Busselton Jetty. The three-hour fennel roasted pork belly on garlic confit mash topped with cinnamon apples gave everyone on our table serious dish envy. Alas, no goose on the menu.

Fantastic risotto and carpaccio. Wonderful salmon gravadlax and Geraldton dhufish. But an unbelievably noisy restaurant – things that smashed and clattered on the floor and a kitchen door didn’t stop squeaking.

We tried the new Beerenberg Farm Creamy Mushroom Sauce on panfried chicken thighs. A tasty, velvetty sauce, but not the flavour is not mushroomy enough for this mushroom lover!

Restaurant review. A five-course degustation menu featuring imaginative delicious food. Rich forest mushroom soup, cold pork confit roll with salty pork jelly, beef and beetroot, chicken dinner…and a fried egg that is not a fried egg.
