Nasi lemak from the Internation Food Hall in East Victoria Park

Jac got me takeaway nasi lemak from the International Food Hall in East Victoria Park, and I arranged it on a plate before photographing and eating it. The chicken drumstick was delicious, and so was the sambal, which had soaked through much of the rice.

We got the house keys! Let's go to Spencer Village!

14 September 2009
Popiah from Fook Kee at Spencer Village

On the night we got the keys, we spent some time just walking around in the empty house, excited and amazed that this was really going to be our new home. We made plans – things to do leading up to the move – and lists of things we needed to get for the house. Eventually of course, we got hungry.
