With more SPAM to use up, I made SPAM stars and fried rice. The fried rice was very simple as usual – leftover rice, green beans, garlic and egg, flavoured with soy sauce. I made the stars using a cookie cutter.
My bento lunch the next day: my favourite easy fried rice, made with SPAM, green beans and garlic. As usual, I flavoured the rice with a little oyster sauce, soy sauce and black pepper.
I cooked up a batch of fried rice for my bento lunch the next day, with sliced Plumrose brand cocktail frankfurts, sugar snap peas, mushrooms, garlic and egg.
For one of my dinners while Jac was away, I stir-fried chicken, baby corn, mushrooms, bok choy and green beans with lots of garlic. For my bento the next day, I had leftovers: chicken and vegetable stir-fry and fried rice from the day before.
Lunch from 88 Royal lunch bar (88a Royal St, East Perth) – fried rice and honey chicken. I had lunch with my team mates, who were all eating fresh salads and sandwiches bursting with goodness – which made eating this feel even junkier than it was.
Last Tuesday morning I woke with a craving for fried rice… I had time to quickly rustle up a batch of fried rice. I used cooked rice we had in the fridge, SPAM, green beans, a clove of garlic and an egg, with oyster sauce to flavour the rice.
