Scotch filet steak with prawns and creamy garlic sauce

Restaurant review – unfortunately, the most memorable aspects of our meal were negative: the inedible garlic bread rusks we were served; the steak placed on chips; how we almost didn’t even eat at Portorosa. But I did enjoy my garlic prawns.

Dinner and bento – Italian takeaway

My Italian leftovers bento

This was one of the best takeaway dinners we’ve had! The food came from Italian restaurant Casa del’ Amici (“The Vale Shopping Centre”, Shop 23, 393 Warton Road, Canning Vale). For our bento lunches the next day, I packed us an Italian encore.
