A bun and a sandwich

Buttered toasted hot cross bun

During the week leading up to Easter, I had a buttered toasted hot cross bun for breakfast. Jac toasted the buns under the grill so that they were slightly crisp on the outside but soft on the inside and still quite chewy, just how I like them.

Ever since being sick on new year’s eve, Jac’s been staying away from heavy meals, rich and fatty foods and red meat. We celebrated her birthday last week with lots of presents, a simple dinner at Nando’s and a nice walk afterwards.
