A stack of pancakes with berry compote and double cream; perfectly poached eggs with crispy bacon and sweet, grilled ripe tomatoes. French toast with bacon, grilled banana and maple syrup. We enjoyed breakfast at The Goose after dinner there less than 12 hours earlier. That’s what holidays are all about.

Mini pancake stack with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and maple syrup

Restaurant review. Service was friendly and fast, food was delicious. An all-day menu featuring more than just pancakes. A menu specially for the kids. My Pancakes Aussie Sunrise included two fluffy buttermilk pancakes with whipped butter, fried egg, grilled banana and pineapple and a choice of bacon or sausage. A drizzle of maple syrup and I was in breakfast heaven.

Poffertjes (Dutch mini pancakes), ice cream, banana, maple syrup, mini Oreos

We tried Poffertjes Yum’s premium Dutch pancake mix recently. It’s really easy to use – you just add water. They turned out great! I had warm poffertjes for dessert with fresh banana, vanilla ice cream, maple syrup and mini Oreo cookies.
