Cured salmon gravadlax, ciabatta wafers, lemon creme fraiche, salmon caviar, fresh dill from Coco's Restaurant, South Perth

Fantastic risotto and carpaccio. Wonderful salmon gravadlax and Geraldton dhufish. But an unbelievably noisy restaurant – things that smashed and clattered on the floor and a kitchen door didn’t stop squeaking.

Authentic wiener schnitzel, Alpine Restaurant, Carlisle

Restaurant review – delicious German/Austrian food (magnificent authentic wiener schnitzel and chips!) spoiled by extremely slow service. Restaurant review – on my last day in Sunday, I had dim sum with my sister and brother-in-law at Fisherman’s Wharf Seafood Restaurant in Pyrmont. We all got to eat our must-have dim sum items: char siu pow, siew mai and egg tart and really enjoyed our breakfast. I’d happily eat there again.
