This year’s Melbourne Cup lunch at work featured pizza from Stuzzico and yummy contributions from workmates who volunteered to bring something in. We ordered two full pizzas (1.5 metres long each) – one meat and one vegetarian.
My niece Zoe (sister of Ruby) was baptised last month, and afterwards we all went back to my brother’s place for lunch. My sister-in-law Ange (Zoe’s mum) had done some cooking, but family and friends brought along dishes too. It was quite a feast!
In early April, my family held a “full moon” celebration for the newest member of the family, my niece Zoe, the second child of my brother and my sister-in-law.
The morning after our family reunion dinner, we “kids” got together again to go visit our relatives for Chinese New Year. Of course, this involved more eating – I didn’t have breakfast that morning, as I knew we’d be eating nonstop as we visited everyone.
