Breakfast at the Station Street Markets in Subiaco is a great option if you feel like something savoury that’s not just variations of bacon and eggs and toast. We enjoyed a breakfast of Mexican, El Salvadorian, French and Vietnamese food.

Boxing day lunch with my family, featuring baked ham, roast lamb, duck fat roast potatoes, roasted root vegetables and steamed greens. For dessert: an enormous trifle and macarons filled with lemon curd with raspberry gel centres. The very next day, my nephew Caleb was born!

Restaurant review. Delicious food with ocean views at this beachside restaurant. Magnificently rich tender pork belly and a cracking good toffee crust on the citrus creme brulee. I’d go back for the food, not the service.

Restaurant review. Fusion cuisine with silver service. The chef’s tasting menu was a glutton’s delight featuring seafood, pork, beef, mushrooms and the delicious signature duck and shitake pancakes. Exquisite desserts. Highly recommended.
